Hi! I guess this is where I tell my story, what ever that might be.  Best start with the basics.  My name is Rebecca but prefer Becca.  I am 33 years old and am a Leo (for all you August babies).  I am engaged to an awesome man and have no children.  At the age of 24 I was diagnosed with Sever Degenerative Arthritis in the lower section of my spine.  It was extremely devastating to be told that I have a spine of a 75-80 year old at such a young age.  Which meant, my life had to change.  I ended up having surgery in 2005 as I developed 2 bulging discs and 1 massive herniated disc.  I recovered immediately and had no pain for the first time years.  Doctors said that because of my bones deteriorating, I will eventually need reconstructive surgery in 10 years. I have lived pain free since 2005 up until 1 years ago.

My back pain is back and has been going out on my on a monthly basis.  The arthritis has spread from my lower back (S-L Section) to my rib cage (T-Section).  My weight has increased during these last 2 years which I know have contributed to the pain.  If I want children and want to continue being able to work without going out on disability, I decided to have the Sleeve.  My date has finally been set and I am counting down those days.

I believe this weight loss will help tremendously with my back pain and re-frame from having those monthly outages.  I am hoping this surgery will save me more ways then one.  I'd like my life to continue not stop because of pain.
