I'm 4 days post op and feeling pretty good. Get tired easily, have some pain around the port site and am having to remind myself to eat something (that is if you consider a protein drink eating something). Who would have thought that? I had a little slimming episode last night after I took my pain meds, but it only lasted a few minutes. Yuck!! Having a hard time getting enough water in but I keep my bottle next to me and sip all day long. Day 1 and 2 were a breeze (hardly any pain) but day 3 was a little bit rough. Hoping today will also be a breeze. Time will tell. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to begin my life anew. A journey to a healthier, more energetic ME!
Surgery tomorrow

Surgery is tomorrow morning at 0715. I'm so excited and just a little nervous. I feel good about the surgery, the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. Got to pick them both. The office staff has been very helpful and encouraging. I'm a lucky girl.

I got insurance approval and a date. . April 28th is going to be the first day of the rest of my life. I'm soooo excited
