While I was having some testing done to see if the port was okay another glich was found.  So we will getthru this and just keep on keepin' on.  I really hope this is it.

I posted this on a support group discussion blog but I need all the suggestions I can get . I had my surgery 5 1/2 months ago and seem to be losing my enthusiasm.  I have done good (not great) but good in losing.  I have had a few obsticles other than the normal ones but am stuck.  I had a port revision and ever since then can't seem to lose any more weight and after two months of not losing am getting discouraged.  I know I believed in myself at one time or couldn't have gotten this far, I am at a loss.  Plese help!!!

I had my port re-vision surgery and all went well(Thank-you GOD).  Now I am ready to get that fill that I originally went it for three weeks ago. Although I found a awesome dvd to workout to since the surgery .  I was told to not do any ab work for a bit (DUH!!!) but nobody told me that I couldn't walk .  As a matter of fact the Dr. said the I could continue with my areobics, so that is what I did.  Since I had my surgery 1 week ago I have walked twenty nine miles with Lesley Sansone.

I found out about a week ago I have a flipped port.  To fix it the surgeon has to go back in and re-sew it to my stomach wall.   I am not sure how much of a "set back" this will be but I am hoping that  even the next day can at least return to walking.  But no matter what it's all good I will get back on track as soon as possible.  It just sucks

My big problem at this point ( I have not liked exercise in the past) I think am becoming addicted to exercise.  IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!!

I WENT IN ABOUT 6, THINKING I WOULD HAVE AN 8 OR 8:30 SURGERY. NOT THE CASE, I FINALLY GOT IN ABOUT 9:50 .  THE WHOLE SURGERY WAS ABOUT 1 HOUR  LONG.   DR. EDWARDS HAD AN EMERGENCY APPENDECTOMY. I A WAS VERY PATIENT,PATIENT AND I WAS PRAYING ALL WENT WELL AND OF COURSE IT DID.  AT THIS GIVEN MOMENT I FEEL AS THOUGH I HAVE BEEN KICKED IN THE STOMACH REPEATEDLY.   BUT AS I HAVE SAID IN THE PAST THIS TOO SHALL PASS. I AM STILLVERY EXCITED ABOUT LOSING THIS WEIGHT.

Tonight I attended my first support group and it was AWESOME!!!!  Well guys I have 1 day and a wake up and I get to have the surgery.  So far I have done alright with my liquid diet.  I may have written this before but I am having a real struggle with "head" hunger and "physical" hunger.  This two shall pass. 
   




Ps. I met a very nice lady who is ahead of me in this lifestyle change and I really hope she finds me on here!

Only four days and I have a new birthday.   The head hunger and the physical hunger are in an all out battle.  So far I have come through with flying colors and I am sure I can make it to Wednesday.  You ladies have all hepled me so much.  I'll blog more later.

      I have finished my first week of liquid diet.  The first week I was on two shakes and one small meal a day, but now I will have two shakes and chicken soup for supper.  BUT I only have 7 days to go. I wont  know until the day before what time or I could count down hours to(I bet my husbands greatful for that)!!!!!!!
