Six Months
Sep 10, 2009
It's been six months and I'm down 56 puonds!!!! I started working out about three months ago, Started with the Wii fit. Try it, you'll like it! I'm now up to weights
and a fitness ball
. I was never a weight lifter or a guy person so I tried kettlebells at home. Once again check them out (http://www.russiankettlebells.com/). It's a great work out, so is the fitness ball. All my blood work cam back with everything in the normal range, hemoglobin A1c, cholesterol, the works!!! I even sleep better
and have a much higher energey level throughout the day.

Well, if this week is any sign of things to come I think I'm going to do good. Had my first follow up on Thursday. I'm down 20 Lbs. Yes, I know this is most likely water weight, but I'll take it and run with it. The Doctor set my goal weight at 212Lbs. For once I really feel I can make it to this goal. My blood sugar before the surgery was somewhere over 400. Yesterday it was 124. It hasn't been that low in years. If that isn't incentive enough to keep doing what I should have been doing years ago, I don't know what is.
Saturday I start soft food

GO ME!!!!!
The first 48

During the first 48 hours I've had two things happen.
1) I learned a new respect for Jell-o.
2) My emotions at times seem to just go out of control.
Is this normal?
