Getting anxious

When I first found out that my insurance (Florida Medicaid) covered WLS I was stunned. I didnt believe it at first and I started doing research. I found that it is covered and it is pretty easy to be approved. I was instantly thrilled. I came to OH looking for surgeons in my area and I met some very nice girls who have helped me out a lot.
I have decided to go to Dr Hoddinott in Ocala, FL. Ocala is only about 30 minutes from my house and when I met with Dr. H I felt so comfortable. His office staff is amazing and very timely. I will be getting an open RNY. I am nervous about having an open surgery but I think it is for the best.
Lets see. I have an appointment with my pcp (Alexis Nibe at Express Care of Bellview) in the morning and then I have my psyc evaluation on the 29th of this month. I still have to see my pcp until October to meet the insurance requirements but after that they can submit my paperwork.
I was thinking I didnt want surgery until around March of 2013 but now that I have thought about it I am ready. Sure I have fears but I think the good outweighs the bad. I am so excited to start my new life and go shopping for smaller clothes!!
