hi everyone my name is Anna , I'm 47 years old ,  I live in toronto ontario . I was overweight all my life , my childhood wasnt the greatest there was abuse from a family member, and coming from an italian background needless to say I turned to food for comfort. I tried tons of diet but none of them work .presently I work for an alarm opperator , I love to read , movies . I had my  gastric bypass surgery april 30 2008,this journey as been intersting I thought after the surgery I wouldnt have to worry about food thats not true , I still have to worry what to eat , but I'm glad I did the surgery , I think this is a tool in order to eat healthy . before the surgery I loved to eat carbs , chips cookies pizza , but now I dont eat as much of them ,I'm married to a great guy who loves to cook. Its weird going out to dinner and ordering one meal . I think having the surgery is a personal decision . at the start of this journey I weighted 298 and at the present I weigh 173
