Well, this is one week after my Lap Band Surgery (on 3/28/07) and I'm doing pretty good.  I do need to work on drinking more water & walking more.  I also need to avoid cheating!  I've done it a few times, but not too many.  This is mostly cause that first wee on just clear liquid is much harder than I thought it would be.  But,  I am finally getting into the grove of it, and have been pretty faithful to the required diet.

I just saw my bariatric doctor today for a check up & overall I am doing good. I'm down to 226 lbs.  Most of that though was water weight.

His testing indicated I'm not drinking enough water (no surprise there!) and also I'm not getting enough protein.  So he wants me to fast track to regular food asap and of course drink more water (which I was already planning on doing). 

So, next tomorrow & next week I will focus on soft foods, and the week after I'll start switching to regular foods as advised.

I see Dr. Simpson again in a month for another check up.
