Hi Atousa! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Hi, Atousa, my name is Joan, I live in Rancho Santa Margarita and I had my surgery December 22, 2003 with Dr. K. He really is a fantastic surgeon, but a bit intimidating. I kept telling myself that his bedside manner came second to his skill, and indeed it does. He made me feel totally confident about the surgery and everything went well. I am now 10 and 1/2 weeks Post Op and I've lost 51 lbs. I'm happy for you and be assured you will not regret this....just be patient. E-mail me any time if you have any questions I can help answer. Oh, and don't be afraid to bug his staff. That is what they are there for.
