"my pre-op care and staff were excellent. They were very comforting and atentive to any anxiety or fear of surgery. My recovery care right out of surgery was excellent as well as the person who was taking care of me. The 1st nurse I was given to care for me once I was in my own private room (a BIG PLUS) was not as pleasant. She was I guess you would say "friendly" but didnt really seem like she knew what she was doing. My vitals were supposed to being read every 15 min from machines I was hooked up to including B.P. which I do have HIGH B.P. and they were not working properly for hrs+ and she seemed like it was no big deal and not important. Going to the bathroom for the first time she did not offer to assist me or support me at all. All she talked about was taking her "lunch hour" and getting a break. The nighttime nurse was totally opposite and gave me good care. The person who came in every so often to check my vitals besides my regular nurse was not so friendly. She barely spoke and I dont ever think I saw an expression on her face she always seemed too big in a hurry to pay me any attention other than the technical part of her job. Overall I was not "DISPLEASED" but there were definetly some areas that could have been more pleasant and comfortable."
