I have been on the large size since I was 10 years old, but always light on my feet.  I could always hang in there with all my smaller friends, but still went through being singled out by society.  First fat people were out then in.  Now I'm older and have gotten bigger.  I can't hang in there with anyone now, not even my 59 year old mother.   I'd always said I would never get the "big" surgery, and looked into the lap-band and sleeve surgeries.  They were all a no go because of my high BMI.  I had to face reality that I'm not loosing, or feeling any better.  I found a program in Chicago that I really like and am ready to live again.  So here I am needing support and answers to many questions.  The closer I get to getting a surgery date, the more nervous I get. I've heard all the horror stories and want to hear from someone who is/have gone through it.
