I have been so busy going back and forward to the doctor it is ridiculous. After I left seeing Dr. Freeman for the initial consult, it was recommended that I see a cardiologist to have clearance for the surgery. Well, needless to say I had it all planned out that I would see one right before the surgery, because I really never had any cardiac problems. Okay, in October I began to have tightness in the chest and a dull pain. I was always tired and real weak. I figured with being in school full time, raising 4 kids, and working full time it was just stress. But, it did not let up with the pains. So, I saw a wonderful cardiologist buy the name of Stoudemire-Howlett, and I love her. I explained to her about the WLS and concerns I had. She asked about my medical history and concluded that I would be a good candidate for the WLS. In the meanwhile I have been seeing a pulmonary physician as well. He and Dr. Stoudemire sent to have a sleep study done, and on top of that I do have ostructive sleep apnea. I just hope, with me gaining 2lbs will not be because of all the stress I have been under. 

I must admit I am excited about my future, after the surgery. I have 4 beautiful kids and a loving husband. I want to be there for them, I have so much to live for. I am looking forward to doing just that.

We droved to Anniston on Wednesday, and I must say it was hot outside. I really did not care because I was going to meet the doctor and his staff who would help me in my journey.

When i arrived to the Freeman Clinic it was beautiful, there were others there like me, hoping to become a future patient. While we were waiting we began to share our concerns and admirations about the surgery or the possibility of having surgery. I must admit it that I actually thought I was the only person in the world who had hang ups about their appearance.

Well I have the instructions on what I need to do to get the ball rolling.

I will commute to Birmingham to visit Dr. Freeman's office. It's just the seminar, I am feeling real curious to know what will all take place.  I  do not know what procedure would benefit me the most. I am really scared to have the gastric bypass, but I want to make sure the lapband will successfully work. I am very unhappy with my appearance and health. I have 4 beautiful kids, I want to see grow up.
