Well as of today(02-20-09) it has been one week and one day sence my Dr. turned in my Insurance papers. Still no news but they did tell me know later then 2 weeks. It is killing me waiting. I want to get started right now lol. Well maybe I will hear something next week. I will post more as I know it...

Well I went to my Seminar today.(02-12-09) It was great I learned so much today. I am going with the Lap- band Surgery. I thank that is the best for me. As of today i have already lost 5 pounds. I was shocked I have been cutting back on my foods i guess it is paying off lol..woo hoo..
They took all my info.today and told me that I will hear if my Insurance will Approve in no later then 2 weeks. I pray that it will!!!!... If it does then I will see my Dr. and start all my appts. and get a surgery date.Please pray that everything get approved.

hello my name is Arliene ,I am from Oklahoma I am the mother of 2 great kids my son is 12 and my daughter is 10. I have been big most all of my life. But in the last five years my health has went down hill . I have high blood pressure, pre- diabetes,sleep apnea and abnormal heart beat and angina. I have come to the point in my life where i have got to do something. My weight is at the highest it has ever been. I am 5'4 and i am at 353 pounds. I have been wanting to get the lap-band surgery. I have been looking into this for over a year now. So I have now taken the steps to do this for myself. I want to be able to see my kids grow up . I have a great husband who is very supportive. I have been looking at this site for a few months now. I have read so many things people has said it's nice to know I am not alone.I am looking forward to starting my new life and meeting lots of new great people on here.
