I am relaxed now...My letter came today from OHIP advising that I have been approved...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I really can't wait to start my new life... WOW !!!!!!!!
This is going sooooooo fast....I have been ready for this for years....and now finally its reality...I have allot of mixed emotions....and I am hoping my consultation goes smoothly as this whole process.

I also found a Doctor closer then Michigan...Buffalo.....AHHHH...I have sent my paperwork already to Ohip and now I want to switch... I am back at sqaure one.......I am going to think about tonight and do more research and make a decsion.

Let me start by saying, my family doctor asked my mom how I was doing with my weight during my mothers rountine appointment. My whole family is slender, but me....My Mom said i was up and down since I got married...
My Doctor told my mom to have her come see me, I have options for her.
I went to see my family docotor today to discuss my options for surgery...
I walked into his office and the male nurse that weighed about 120lbs wanted to weigh me....I said no, I will tell the doctor how much I weigh.
My Doctor walked into the examining room and asked how I am I doing and how can he help me? I replied, " I heard you were asking about me?"
The conversation began, he explained the procedure and I fully understood, as I was doing research. He gave me the two routes....OHIP which the waiting list is about 3 to 5 years or I can pay for it about $15, 000.00.
I mentioned I don't have that kind of money and I would have to go through OHIP. He disagree with OHIP and feels that you are overweight and have heath issues then it should be covered. Problem is I am 300lbs and healthy.....I have no sickness associated with being FAT.
Well I am going to have to wait and see, I am going to wait for the Doctor's office to call, so I can see another doctor.
I will keep you all posted.....
Maybe I can win the lottery and have the money to do my surgery.
