Well I go tomorrow at 1:15 for my one year check up...So much has changed for me in that one short year...I can drive again, I can walk without my canes, I don't even look for them anymore!!! I am wearing a 26/28w down from a oh 9x and a 80something special made jeans!!! I went swimming 2x this month...something I haven't done since I was 21...I don't get so outta breath anymore and can walk longer without resting....It was a rough few months after su rgery but its ok now..and I would have it again in a heartbeat...will update my loss tomorrow...hugs and friendship A.

Well I went and weighed the other day and I am down 3 more pounds...The weight loss has slowed way way waaaaaaaayyyyy down the last couple months....but now I can walk and am doing sit ups and walking more....I am driving again...so thats a MAJOR thing for me....well love and prayers....A
2-22-08 Surgeons visit

Ok so I went to be weighed on the 11th of Feb. and I was up to 438. I GAINED 6 POUNDS!!!!!!....S two weeks later I go back and I lost 11 pounds!!!! I am at 427 now....He said fluid would make me do that and that I still had some on me....BUT I LOST LOL....HUGS A

Just checkin in...I am just under 8 months out from surgery and haven't been weighed since december so nothing new there, BUT I am wearing a 26/28W in pants and a 3x in tops and kniot pants. Sooooo yup I think its been worth all the side effects. I can walk a little now, still no stairs or steps but I can make it from bedroom to living room. So its coming along well... hope you are all doing well also!!!! Hugs and Friendship A

Are ya'll ready for this???? Drum roll please.........---135lbs in 6 months!!!!! I am down to 432!!! My BMI has went from 88.8 to 67.7 in that time!!! I am so tickled!!! Those numbers made all the suffering worth it!!!! My surgeon was glowing proud!!! He said he could only imagine what I will be able to lose when I get to were I can get out and walk and work out...I can stand for a few minutes now...and was able to step up on the scale!!! So I am slowly but surely getting there... A
ER and Seatbelt

Well I had to go to the ER today (monday) because I have Celluitus ? spelling?....Well I get in the car at the hospital and i was pulling my seatbelt up, I don't have an extender for my moms car so i usually just pull it over my belly and hold it.... well guess what I did today that I haven't been able to do in about 15 years??? I fastened my seatbelt like a normal person!!!!!!! YEEHAW!!!! GO ME!!!! LOL!!!!

I am sitting here in a pair of real honest to goodness blue jeans!!! They are BIG jeans but when I bought them I couldn't even get em past my knees. Still not walking but I can stand for a few minutes to get into my chair. Faith. Thats what I have. hugs A

Well I haven't been around much because for the last oh 6 weeks or so I have been bedridden because my legs refuse to work and the quacks say its a vitamin B1 deficiency. Who knew?? So I am now able to get off the bed and into a wheel chair a couple times a week...soooo....here I am....Keep me in your thoughts and prayers Thanks A

Well Ive lost 3 more pounds....been back in the hospital due to dehydration caused by a stomach virus...doin better now...write more later....ive lost a total of 64.5 pounds since surgery...yayyyyyy....
