After years and years of trying different diets or the latest fad craze...I have finally resigned myself to the fact that I need to do something drastic..cause let`s face it surgery is a drastic step to lose weight...but from being on here and looking at all the before and after pics and hearing others success stories..I know I am not alone and I know I am not the only one that couldn`t do it on her own...that was my view of WLS I saw it as a crutch and those who chose that path well were failures cause they couldn`t lose the weight on their own.
I was bound and determined that I was going to lose it myself..with my own efforts...well HA!!! jokes on me cause I didn`t ..if anything just kept getting fatter and fatter. Sure some people do lose weight..I mean I`m sure we all know people who have...yet like someone said to me ..but how many are really able to keep it off....i beleive those who can is cause they are closely monitoring themselves and are in the gym 3x plus times a week to be able to maintain that...and we have all watched the Biggest Loser I am sure..but who realistically with spouses and kids and works can excersise 6 hours a day or more?
So I have accepted that for me there is no other option rather than fighting against it and now my journey begins...I don`t want to jump overboard and get ahead of myself which i have a tendency to do in most things...but this I realise must take careful consideration and research of what I beleive the best surgery for me will be....so that is where I am at for now.
Thank You all for sharing...you are all an inspiration.
God Bless....Annie
