Sick... Sick... Sick...
Oct 15, 2011
Alrite so here's a new post. I havent been on since before surgery for the fact that I have had many complications. So this 2% that they speak of well I was one and am still one of those. I have had 2 strictures, i now have a stomach ulcer and I have gall stones meaning my gall bladder needs out the sooner the better. I've been in and out of the hospital for the last roughly 2 months and thinking may need to go back tomorrow for hydration. My last hospital stay was just under 3 weeks in Toronto at the Humber River. Thank god most of the nurse's there are nice. So now my main focus is to figure out all my vitamins and my proteins and get going on that and hopefully will start to feel better. I dont know how many of you guys eat cause i barely eat and have no hunger or thirst. Well I really do hope that some of you think a lot about this surgery before going. It is for sure a big lifestyle change and you can and may get complications. I just kinda wished I wasn't one of the complicated one's. Well I'll give you guys an update when im up to it again. Since having no energy does not help whatso ever.

11 days till surgery!!!
Aug 07, 2011
Well im 11 days till surgery now and im getting tired of being asked if im nervous. The answer is No and probably will be no until they start to wheel me into the operation room. Im more nervous going to sleep at night and worrying wether or not i will wake up in the morning. My mom had High blood pressure and sleep apnea (which is now gone from her having DS) and my dad is diabetic (which is now being controlled). I do not want to have these things, this is why im doing this while im young (23). People ask me why im doing it now and all i answer is because i want to live a happier and longer life, i want to be able to have kids and a loving husband (boyfriend first). Well i will keep you guys posted! While im happy for surgery, im happy to soon be having my last optifast!!! :)
