Well, I remember when I made this profile. I have been through so much in the pass year. I didn't I was ever going to get surgery. When you sign up for orientation, they tell you it will only be a 6-8 month wait. Boy was that wrong. I had my surgeon consult in Sept. 2008. My starting weight was 296. So much has happen since then. I had my psychology evaluation with Dr. Hain at Portsmouth Naval. I failed that; she said that I was too depressed and did have a stable enviroment. So then I had to go to therapy for 3 months. After that, my surgeon Dr. Barker wanted to have a sleep study done on me. Then I found out that I had sleep apnea. So I got my c-pap machine. Then a month later I had blood work done and found out that I was diabetic. So then I had to get a medication for that. And here I am finally, I am going to have surgery Sept. 21. And I am also down to 277. I am so excited, because I know this will change my life for forever.
