I am filled with so much hope tonight! After seeing all the wonderful before & after photos and receiving messages from my new-found friends, I KNOW I can do this!
I am so grateful for family and friend support. I am looking forward to another support group meeting prior to my surgery.
The one thing I keep wondering about, not worrying but just wondering, is the possible need for plastic surgery. I have about 182 lbs to lose. That's ALOT by anyone's standards. Will I have all that crazy loose skin? I know nothing can replace being able to lose all this weight. Being healthy is the most important thing, but will insurance cover any plastic surgery I may need? Will it cause me any "medical issues". I am only curious. Oh gosh, will my ta-tas deflate and be down around my knees? LOL. I'm cool with it. Just so many questions and really no answers at this point, because no one really knows. Health, that's the blessing I am after right now. The ta-tas can wait for another day!

I'm ready for my surgery!

..........but I am scared a little!
I really am ready for this. It's been almost 4 years in the making and it's finally almost here. I think I have been in the grieving process of what I am losing. Am I losing me? Who I am? Who will I be? What now?
I attended my first support group meeting this week. I was so impressed and encouraged. I wish I had attended before now. It would have relieved alot of my fears. I can do this! I can do this! I CAN do this!
I am also excited about this site. I just found out about it in my support group. I am still learning to navigate and still unable to get my pic posted as my profile picture. Oh well. I'll get there.
I hope to keep my blog updated daily. I want to keep a diary of my experiences and maybe some day publish it to help others. With God's grace and mercy this will hapen!
