"Everyone was really nice and helpful but like all very overworked and short on time. I highly recommend having a family member with you at all times. It makes the hosptial stay less stressful and more comfortable."
"2-23-05 I had my pre-surgery consult with Dr. Eagon yesterday. My first impression with the office was that they were a very busy office. But the office staff were very nice and the waiting area was nice. His nurses were very busy but acted professional and were helpful. I felt like Dr. Eagon was very informative he answered all of my questions and explained the benefits, risks, aftercare, etc. I found out that because I'm on the upper end of BMI that I will have to have an "open" procedure and that I'll be in the hospital 4-5 days. Dr. Eagon's office will contact me to schedule a surgery date after they get the approval from my insurance company. Part of my consult was a PT eval, meeting with dietician, and meeting with a psychologist. Each of those providers were nice and very knowledgeable, but they aren't very timely. I had to wait a minimum of 45 minutes past my appointment time to meet with them. Otherwise I didn't have any complaints.
