Hey gang,
 I've finally made it. The frist surgery is done and I start 5:00 in the morning I start the second which is my Baritric Birthday RNY. The IV in my neck is well a Pain in MY Neck literally. but everything else is going great. 

SUSAN (DR. MURR'S BARTRIC CO-ORDINATOR) CALLED ME AT 10A.M. TO TELL ME MY PRE-OP DATE IS MARCH 24 AND MY SURGERY FOR MY BLOOD FILTER IS APRIL 4TH AND THE 5TH FOR MY WLS SURGERY . BUT (AND THERE IS ALWAYS A "BUT") I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TO STAY IN A HOTEL POST OP FOR OBSERVATION FOR 2 TO 3 WKS IF YOU TRAVEL A LONG DISTANCE AND IT COST 1,200 TO 1,600 DOLLARS AND WE DON.T HAVE IT ALL. BUT I CAN'T WAIT TIIL MY SURGERY, THANK YOU LORD FOR SURGERY.

HEY GANG I GOT APPROVED FOR MY SURGERY HERE IT COMES THE  "BUT" I HAVE TO GO SEE AN HEMATOLOGIST TO HAVE BLOOD DRAWN AND OBSERVED BEFORE I CAN MAKE A DATE FOR SURGERY. AND THE KICKER IS I HAVE 60 DAYS TO GET EVERYTHING DONE OR MY INSURANCE SAYS I HAVE TO START ALL OVER FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS. MY NERVES ARE ON END. I DID NOT EXPECT TO GET APPROVED SO SOON. DR. MURR AND TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL AND HE TAKES FLORIDA MEDICAID. HE HAS A WONDERFUL STAFF AND WORKS WELL WITH THE HOSPITAL & REFERRING PHYSICIAN.

Hey everyone I have been through so much I have successfully completed my last two doctor appointments with only a minor set back of I need a screen put in for my blood clot prevention and precaution. I also haft to have a hematologist/oncologist to do a study on me. At the same time my eligibility for my insurance is time for a annual review and I don't know if I am going to have insurance or not so pray for me. It will come in his time not our own. He has made all this possible for me and I know he has a plan for me and will reveal it to me when it is time. I have to see the vascular surgeon the 12/30 of this month and don't know how I'm going to pay for the hotel and gas down to Tampa general hospital from the northern Florida close to the Alabama state line. We have made it this far and God will see us through.
I met my doctor for the first time on the 13th and he is "AWESOME". He explains everything to you in your terms the way you speak not doctor language. He is patient, understanding and doesn't point fingers but does stress the point when need. 
My back on my right side is killing me and can figure out why. But I see my PCP tomorrow maybe I'll  find something out then. Christmas is awesome because I got to spend a couple of day with my husband on the trip to the doctor in Tampa fl the family won't be getting any present this year but we have the spirit of the holiday and the birthday of Jesus  to look forward too. I do feel guilty because I have take up all of the families resources and we have nothing left for Christmas much less getting through the rest of the month until we get payed again. listen to my pity party I have been blessed  to have family, church, and friends that have helped us alot  even though that our church has had it own battles lately with the home invasion death of a dear friend and church elder Mrs. Ford . I told you life has been busy. but I am still heads up and full steam ahead for my surgery with a positive attitude and a wonderful husband that won't let me give up on myself or feel guilty about the money that has to be spent to save my life (as curt says) he is wonderful, Godly, blunt, no nonsense, awesome man of God. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

I am on my way I got my cardic clearence and I am just waitin on my dietian to clear me and she has been out for two days. The waiting is the hardest part. Maybe they call tomorrow. Update I have went through most of the preliminaries know is the hardest waiting and wondering when news will come . 

Does anyone know the surgeon in Jacksonville florida at the University of Florida at Jacksonville.I am in the process of getting accepted there. Has anyone been there before.

I may have found a doctor, that will take my insurance it is a wait and see kind of thing. m doc is doing her best to help me but we all know it takes lots of time. really i don't have but all things good come to those who wait.
