My story starts in May of 2007. My husband and I attended an informational meeting at the Bariatric Center in Greenville. We got all of our information, and started going to appointment after appointment. My final consult with the Dietician is in 2 weeks. After that, I will send all my info in to the insurance company. Then the wait begins. Once I get approved and get a surgery date, then I will start putting up pictures. Right now, i am jumping through all the insurance company hoops, and hoping to get approved. If all goes well my surgery date will be in early November. Very very soon!!

It is 11/2/07.
My date is set for 11/15! My insurance approved it the first time. I have to say that the UPMC Greenville Bariatric center was awesome, they did nearly everything for me! I just showed up where they said and had my tests done, and everything.
Right now i am preparing for my pre-op diet. I will be on a liquid diet for 10 days before the surgery. I need to take some 'before' pics!
I can not bring myself to post my weight.... maybe someday I will...
