Very nervous about surgery

It is almost 4 am and I can not sleep. I am very nervous about the surgery planned on dec 4. I have a hernia from colon surgery last year so they are going to do both together. I am of indian background and am worried about the Roux en Y Gastric Bypass. I had originaly wanted the Sleeve but the surgeon suggested to have the Bypass. Was that a mistake? Now that the day is coming closer I can't sleep :)
