I had my surgery August 7 2013, my surgery went well as per the hospital and my surgeon. 3 days after I felt great but then my 3 day after surgery I had a seizure and cardiac arrest, my heart stop for over 6 minutes I was put in a induced coma and life support for a few day, and go out of the hospital 17 days after that. I have to thank my surgeon for keeping an extra day she saved my life. I have been going for a ton of test cardiologist neurologist but they say I have inherited heart disorder and this could have happened anytime but I was in the right place at that time and that saved my life.i never knew I had this until after everything. But happy I had the gastric bypass I am a lot healthier and now on heart pills and dilatin but off the bag of pills prior for other health problem now finished. I have lost 110 pounds in 4 months, but my journey has been bumpy but no regrets.
