I had my pre-op consultation today with Dr. Westmoreland, weight in at 273lbs that 4lbs down from when I attened the seminar....cool huh! The consultation went really well and I feel so much more excited about WLS and I can say that I am not scared anymore. He did tell me that he wanted me to lose 15 to 20 lbs before surgery. I guess right now all I am waited on before scheduling surgery is a few lingering medical records to reach the lady at the surgeons office that does the ins. From what I understand now that i have my pre-op consult she will submit to the ins. co. as soon as she receives the few lingering medical records. Have you ever noticed that when you are waiting on something like that (medical records, or mail, etc) it just takes forever? I hope that maybe by next week sometime she will have everthing to submit to the insurance. YAY....
