Hi Amanda. Keep on moving forward. Remember that this is major surgery and give yourself the time and space to heal properly. I can tell you that the first two months are the "adjustment" phase and that it gets much, much easier after that. Your life is changed forever, but you learn to live with it and become better than ever. I know you'll be fine and hopefully, in the very near future, all of what you have gone through is just a memory on your road to health.

Hang in there Amanda. Get through the liquid diet and we'll do the rest. No matter what anyone thinks, you are right that you should be commended for taking this proactive step in your own life and your children's life. I can promise you that there will be some days better than others, but that everyday after surgery is better than anyday before. I can't imagine how I lived life before this. You will soon have the distint opportunity of knowing exactly what I mean and I couldn't be happier for you!!
