I am 3 pounds away from my 100lb weight loss goal.  I have my 8 1/2 month check up next week and I am hoping that I will meet that goal prior to wigh in.  I have dropped 6 dress sizes...I am in a size 12 now.  I haven't been in a size 12 since Jr. High.  This surgery was the best decision I ever made.  I just thank God that he enabled me to do this and continues to lead me on this journey! 

I have lost 64 pounds in 4 months!  I am so excited and motivated to lose.  I haven't been able to go to the gym as much as I had planned, but that's the way it goes.  I have tried something new...Zumba.  It is a lot of fun and helps keep me entertained while I work out.  

Well,
my surgery was on August 4th.  Everything went very well and didn't hurt too badly.  I had a bad reaction to the morphine pump making me sick so I stopped using it and just went on hydrocodine.  I feel good now, although I am a little sore.  All-in-all it was not as bad as I thought it would be.  I was a little nausiated a couple days after I got home but it passed.  Since leaving the hospital I have lost 26 pounds.  It hasn't been easy though.  I have been having a lot of cravings and I am starting to miss food.

I had my education session last week.  Are they trying to scare me out of this or what???  I have to stick myself with a needle for 14 days post op to prevent blood clots.  I AM TERRIFIED OF NEEDLES!  5 hours of education and a binder of info to read. 

My surgery is now less than 30 days away.  I have my pre op visit with the doctor on Thursday and I am getting very anxious about my surgery.

I am about a month out from surgery and all want to do is eat all the things I won't be eating after surgery.  I am supposed to be losing weight and finding it very difficut!  AHHHHH!  

I was approved for surgery last week.  It took me 8 months to get to this point.  I had to have a dr. track my diet for 6 months.  I think it was a waste of time but that's okay.  I have been fat my whole life so what's 6 more months:)  I got my surgery date right away so I am very excited!
