I enjoy the company of others. I come from a large family and believe that without family, lasting friendships, and God you have nothing. You can wonder the world; have all things that you ever thought you wanted but without that human connection with people you really are left alone with nothing.
I am the mother of one four soon to be five year old little boy whom I happen to love endlessly. Becoming a mother has taught me many things; it has allowed me to view the world in a different way and reminds me of what type of man I want to raise my son to be.
I had WLS Dec 20, 2005. Ihave lost a total of 95 pounds and counting. I started at 235 and my goal is to make it to 135. Alomst there. I am interested in having plastics done very soon, I am currently down from a size 20 to a 6. I would be a 4 if it were not for skin! If you know a good WLS Plastics surgeon please let me know!
Having WLS is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I now love life and enjoy putting my close on...... It has now been a year since my wls and I am only five pounds away from my goal. I have recently moved to Dallas, TX and to me 2007 is the begining of a new life......watch out world here I come.
4 years Post Op - I am doing well and life couldnt be better. In the last four years I have regained 11 pounds so I would say that I am keeping it off. I attribute my sucesses to following doctors orders strictly for thr first 18 months. Now I do almost whatever I like. There are a few things I can't have....like burgers, milk, ice cream, cake. All the things that packed on the pounds. I can taste these things but to have an entire bowl of cereal, ice cream or a full burger and I am on the floor in pain and trying to make myself throw up. I am greatful for that though. WOuld you beleive that after four years I am still learning my eating limits!
I am happy to also report that I am engaged and will be maried in July 2010, we just bought a 5 bedroom house and will continue or family a year after the wedding. WLS was and still is the best thing that could have happened to me.
Now please know that it comes with it's troubles, I have poor circulation in my legs causing them to sewll when I sit for to long ( 8 hours at work) and I have to have b12 injections weekely or I fall asleep at the wheel of the car. Overall the things that i deal with so far are manageable.
