Starting over ....

Starting over is so hard to do.
I have had a great run - until this last March. I started having such severe pain in my feet. Months went by and the Dr.s could not help - all they did was send me to a different Dr.
Finally I was sent to an arthritis Dr.
I have been DX with Serumnegative Spondyloarthropathy. What it amounts to is that I have two forms of arthritis both considered autoimmune things. Oh joy... I was put on the mildest meds they could so as not to dissolve the suture line (scar ) line of my Gastric By Pass.
However - it would be at least 3 months before they would know if it would help or if they would have to try something else.
During this time the pain was almost unbearable at times. I could barely walk without a cane and so I sat... and sat ... and started eating like old times.
Now, I am starting to feel a bit better, I am starting to be able to walk a small ways again and I realized, I have regained almost 40 pounds!
I feel like such an idiot.
I am not sure what to do.
I can not stop eating - the addition is strong....
My stomach is starting to protest the meds - I get sick and hurt... but I do not want to be immobile again.
