Hi, my name is Abbey. I am 30 yrs old and have been considered obese since i was 17 yrs old. I have been researching all the types of surgeries for quite some time and now im all for it. I have done all my recommendations for my approval from my insurance company. I was instructed to attend 3 nutrition visits and a psych eval. I have 1 more Nutrition visit for the my post op food and my just wait for the insurance approval. I have met my surgeon on June 16th 2009 and he recommended me to go for the RNY lapascopic. I am really excited but more nervous. He stated that within 2 weeks i should hear something for the approval from my insurance and just a little time from there. He has predicted 6 wks from now for my surgery and I am so excited. I hope and pray I get through this with no complications but I expect the worst.
