Wow what a year for me, I'm 2 1/2 lbs away from my goal but I've come so far. It's a decision I've never regreted but it been a real challenge too. So many little things that I can now do have made this an awesome journey that will continue for a long time. I carried my 3 yr. old grand-daughter (30 lbs) on a 1.5 mile hike with no problems, I can get down (& get UP) on the floor and play with both my grand-daughters (the other one is 4 months old). I can't remember the last time I wore a size 6 jeans (almost into a size 4) or shopped in the Misses section. While this journey has been great it has not been without some down sides (hair loss, severe back pain & excess skin) but I am managing them all okay (except the excess skin). This has been the BEST decision I've made for myself and hopefully I'll be around a lot longer now to enjoy my family.
 

Well I'm almost 8 months out and I've lost 105 lbs. , only 20 more to go to reach my goal. It's been hard finding out what works and those platueas are very frustrating. Being able to shop in the Misses/Womens Dept. instead of the Plus Dept. is awesome and going from size 26W to a 10M is totally AWESOME.
Expecting our second grand-daughter any day now is also totally AWESOME too.

Well it's been alittle over 4 months now and I've lost 72 lbs. which is awesome. I feel so much better and I can move around without pain. I even got down on the floor and played with my Grand-Daughter today. The weight-loss has slowed down some which they said it would and I have my plattoes but it's still going down and staying down. My own problem is some back pain and tremdous hair loss. Just wished they told me to take Biotin to start with for the hair loss. While the hair loss is devestating, at least the weight is coming off.

Well it's been 3 days since my surgery and so far I'm doing okay. Having trouble getting all those liquids & Vitamins down but getting better everyday. So far I'm amazed and how good things are going for me. Hopefully this good luck will continue for me, I've lost 5 lbs. since the surgery and while I am feeling alittle tired I am feeling good too. Thanks for all the support from everyone, looks like I'm an Official Hoosier Loser.

Well it's one week away and since I didn't hear anything from my testing I assume everything is a go. Things have went very smoothly so far , it's will have only been 2 1/2 months from the time I did my consultation with Dr. Jones till my surgery date. I keep waiting for someone to throw a monkey wrench into things , I can't believe my luck. Something I have wanted to have done forever is finally going to happen soon. I know I will be successful because I have to be there are too many things at stake for me to not be successful. I am planning on taking my Grand-Daughter to Walt Disney World in 2 years and I want to be able to enjoy it with her. Please keep me in your prayers. thanks Angel
