I am one week out from having my surgery today.   All in all I think things went really good.  When I woke up Monday after the procedure I was in some pain but they gave me something right away for that.  The horrible part for me started when they got me up.  I started throwing up every time my feet hit the floor.  Good thing that only lasted till Thursday.  Now I am feeling better then ever and really glad I decided to have the surgery.  I think it was the best thing that I ever could have done for myself and for my family.  

I started my liquid diet today.  So far it has gone pretty well.  haven't been to hungry with it, but have not been eating very much lately anyways.  I have my surgery on 8-30-10 and I am really excited about it.   

My weight loss journey officially started on 7-9-10.  This was the day after my initial consult appt.  with Dr. Hendricks.  I weighed 345 lbs.  I am currently down to 321.  I have 16lbs left to lose by 8-30-10.  The diet that his staff has put me on has been a tough one to follow, but I follow it because I know that without the surgery I will only gain the weight back.
