My story of gaining weight began during pregnacy. It just didn't suit me very well. I gained and lost weight often and never could keep it off. When I changed jobs the pounds really packed on and stayed there but I finally did something about it. I had the Gastric Sleeve Aug 30th and in 7 weeks I've lost 28 lbs and couldn't be happier with the results. I have to admit I wasn't in the morbidly obese category but I was still big enough that I needed surgical intervention. Dr. Wade Barker was my surgeon and was awesome. I've known him for a while and wouldn't have chosen any other surgeon. I work at the hospital where I had my surgery, Vista Hospital of Dallas in Garland. The people are wonderful! It's already great to work here, but being on the other side as a patient I couldn't be more proud! I got the special treatment that our patients get every day. I can't wait to reach my goal I know its only around the corner. 
OMG - I can't believe how time has flown by, as well as the weight it now July and I'm down 63lbs - and LOVIN' it!!! I couldn't be happier!!
