I just wanted to thank Sheila M. For calling on me that one time at the hospital. It is always nice to know people out there still cares. I am now a week post-op. Doing okay I think. I stoped taking my pain pills 2 days ago cause i hated the way they made me feel. I am still not sure what to eat. and I an not sure I am getting enough protein or enough liquid. My Dr. only told me as to my diet. stick to what the hospital gave me till he sees me for follow up. But the hospital gave me the wrong stuff; it was all liquid but loaded with sugar for instance a can a soda was with each meal.I asked for maybe a diabetic liquid diet but the nurse told me no. So I just ate the broth and jello and left the rest. Will I ever stop mourning the lost of food? Any ideas or support would be benficial.

This is Tracy. I cam home from the hospital today. All went well but I am very sore. I have also started the hunger that is in my head. Any ideas or solutions on how to get over it? It didn't hit me till I got home and saw the left over dinner on the table from my family. I just wanted to cry. I just stared at the food. My stomach is not hungery...but in my mind..... hopefully this will go away soon. I want to thank everyone for their prayers..God was truely looking out for me.
