"I liked Dr. Sifers. He was very informative & straightforward. The staff seemed very nice. My appointment was at 9am and I didn't get in until 9:30. His office is very busy. He operates out of Shawnee Mission Medical Center only. He stated that the hospital had done 160 of the BPD procedures in the last year. He also has a web site that he refers all of his patients to that gives detailed information on all aspects of this procedure & his program. He believes the BPD procedure has a lower risk level than the RNY & explained why. His demeanor and presence are excellent & he states he has a 20 year history of bariatric surgery under his belt. Due to his high volume & experience he moves you through his office very quickly so you must have a list of questions ready to ask."
