Jan 2,2002 Hi All! I made it through the surgery fine.No problems.I did have some post surgery anxiety, but some people do,but my nerves are getting better everyday! I am having trouble getting all the water in and eating too,but the Doc says when the swelling goes away it will get easier with time!I hope so..I've only lost 10lbs in 2 weeks and have'nt hardly eaten ALL that time! But I know my body is going to give me trouble letting go of the fat..my metabolism is very bad and I have been off my drugs for that since surgery.I will probably just get up one day and weigh and have dropped a load!(at least I'm hoping, after all it HAS to go sometime when you are'nt eating 1/4,or less! of what you did before! So thanks to all of you who sent me cards..they meant lots to me..would've posted sooner, but my nerves were awful and I'm just starting to feel normal.I am doing real good in the eating dept.I have'nt had any problems to speak of,but I have'nt been pushing it either!!Trying to do all I'm supposed to so I know the weight will start dropping soon!!HUGS,Teresa
