"I had my surgery excatly a week ago on 09/08/04. Dr. Dominick Gadaleta was my surgeon. When I first saw, He gave me the impression of a very professional nevertheless,cold, distant, brief, and to the point. Referring to my weight and the risks of living morbidly obese, he stated: " It is just a matter of time". I knew exactly what he meant. I was scared to death. By the time I saw him the second time, my impression of him had totally changed, he remained as professional, but more talkative, detailed, thorough. He explained the whole deal to me and was open to questions. His office staff is very courteous and efficint. He has a great tema of people working for him. Yvonne, the coordinator, is great, They took care of everything for me. I did not have to worry about being approved (I was approved after the first letter that THEY submitted, I did not have to deal with the insurance at all, I did not even have to write a letter, surgery date was given way in advance and never changed, they took care of the hospital stay, they booked everything. And all was done in a professional and courteaous manner. God knows how many times I have called this office and Yvonne, I never felt that they thought I was a pain in the butt. Dr Gadaleta was open as far as the surgery is concerned, the risks, athe benefits, aftercare, the importance of drinking water and protein. I had the opprotunity to chose the greatest surgeon. I just love his professionalism, his bedside manners, his knowledge,his competence, his care... He cae to see me many times while I was in the hospital, always with a smile. He cares for his patients. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gadaleta to anyone who is thinking about having this surgery. They will not be dissapointed. He is GREAT. DOn "
