Yipee I called Aetna today and they said that they finally got all of my paperwork and it is being reviewed by the nurse. Soooo hopefully I should know something by next week. Im so happy. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Well I found out Friday that the lady that has my paper work was on vacation all last week. So it probably just sat on her desk and no body even looked at it. I refaxed my the letter from my pcp providing all of the information that Aetna requires. Now it is just another waiting game. I have called the lady twice just to confirm that she got my fax and she has not called me back. It has been two day (which seems like a life time). I even left her my email address so that it would be easier for her to contact me and she has not made any contact. This is going to drive me nuts. Good thing is that my family is very supportive. My dad's office is moving right down the street from me and he said once I have my surgery I can come have lunch with him. He had his surgery on May 28th and is down 103 pounds WOW congrats DAD I am so proud of you. Well thats all for now. Will update soon.

Well I just call Aetna and they said that they do not have anything in the computer yet about pre-auth. for the surgery. She said that it can take two to three weeks to be updated in the computer. :(. I am going to call BTC to make sure that they submitted it. Will update as soon as I hear something.

Well it has been one week since I had my consulation with btc and I am nervously waiting to hear something back from the ins. company. I know that I have done everything that Aetna requires for the surgery but waiting is the hardest thing to do. I will post again when I hear something back... Hopfully real soon.

Well I went for my consulation on Friday. They are submitting all my insurance information today. I pray that the will approve it fast. I am so nervous. I will keep posting when I know more.

Well I made an apointment to go for my consulation on Aug 2nd. My doctor is faxing me a letter of recommendation cause Aetna requires that they send a letter stating that you have been overweight for more that five yrs. I will update again soon.
