Dawn, all I could think of for months before my surgery was my surgery. That is all I talked about, dreamed about and thought about. I am sure my friends, co-workers and family got sick of me!!! But it is such an exciting time for you. Go ahead and enjoy the anticipation. Best of luck to you and a problem free recovery. My husband and I BOTH had wls in 2001 and have lost a total of 280 lbs. You can do it too!

Dawn, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire!

Dear Dawn...It is okay to think about the surgery often, but try not to worry about anything. Be careful what you say when you talk to yourself and be positive and hopeful. It will make the waiting time so much easier!

Hey Dawn don't be scared it will go just fine. I had surgery on 2/25 and I already lost 50 lbs and feeling so much better and you will to. Just think of all the things you will be able to do that you haven't been to do so.
