~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all ~*~Hugs~*~

Sharon, I cannot speak from experience as I have not had my surgery yet. But I can tell you this, by being totally honest as you have really does help all of us. If there were not times that were a little hard I would wonder.. You will find you way again. Just keep searching and doing what you need to. Don't be so hard on yourself, you will need your strength to help us over the hump.. Take care sweetie... you can do it. Hugs Carol

Sharon, how you are thinking is perfectly normal. Try to stop beating yourself up. I thought having the surgery was the biggest mistake of my entire life (and I've made a bunch!). But I'm at 14 weeks out now and doing better. Hang on hon, it WILL get better.

I meant to say...how many people can say they lost 41 pounds in 7 weeks WITHOUT wls? I'm typing too fast for my brain.

Shaorn, please don't get depressed. I'm 7 weeks out and have lost 41 pounds, only 1 pound the last week. I will lose a few pounds, then hit a plateau. It's very depressing, but how many people can say they lost 41 pounds in 7 weeks with wls? I just recently started exercising...swimming...and I'm hoping to get into weight training as soon as I find someone to train me. Keep up the hard work and keep your chin up!!! Email me anytime.

Sharon, please don't get depressed! You may have hit your first platue. They suck! But you will pick up and start losing again, and it sounds like you are right on track if your comparing to others. Your monthly can slow you a bit also. You may very well lose inches during your platue also. It is just your body catching up. I have hit 2 platues so far one at around 40lbs. and one at 55lbs. (also because of my monthly.) Also, you are considered a light weight and we don't lose as fast as our AMOS freinds who carry more weight. Up your protein and liquids, it might jump start your lose again. Good luck, and keep your chin up! You will lose more soon enough! ;)
