Barry Fisher

" Updated 2-11-2004 2 Years Post-op Anniversary I met with Dr. Fisher in early 2001. My first impression of him was that he was stern, uncomfortably direct and all business. Since then and having come to know him I realize that his lack of bedside manner stems from his dedication to his work and his patients. What you see is what you get with Dr. Fisher. He is straight and to the point with his patients and expects them to be the same with him. As my dear friend, Sue Barr told me before I saw him for the first time, Dr. Fisher can spot someone dealing him a load of bull at 1000 paces so if you think your going to put something over on him...think again because it's not gonna happen. However I must say in Doc's defense that he is truly compassionate and is not above praise or offering his help whenever or where ever it is needed. Dr. Fisher's experience and expertise in the field of Bariatric Surgery is impressive and second to none. His office staff are truly caring, warm and sensitive to the feelings of the patients they serve each day. As of today I am 2 years post-op and very close to 200 pound's down from my pre-surgery weight. Reflecting back on the past 2 years I know that I have Dr. Fisher and Dr. Bobe' my PCP to thank for saving my life and bringing about the brand new me. Without God grace and my wonderful doctors I know would be a miserably large lady trapped in an terribly small world. I am grateful and very blessed. "

Richard Bobe'

"If it weren't for Dr. Bobe' I probably wouldn't have been around much longer. He told me the brutal truth but was sensitive and caring and very supportive. His office staff and especially his nurse Betty are the best."

"I was well cared for. The staff was caring and did their best to accomodate me."
