"The first part of my 24 days stay was in ICU on a ventilator for complications due to surgery. I was there for 8 days, it was a horrible experience for me and my family . With the exception of one nurse, the rest of the nurses and help could have cared less at the outcome of my health. Words cannot describe how we all feel about this unit. Now, the 9th floor, the east tower unit is an exceptional place to be placed for recovery. The nurses, nursing aids and all were very kind , helpful, and attentive. Wendy, Jen, Sean,Chuck,Carolyn,Cathy, & Felicia are just a few that go above and beyond to make your stay nice as possible. The dietary department, however is another story, they ALL need to be educated on WLS and the goals we are trying to achieve."
