Sandra - I am so happy that your surgery is coming up soon. I know that the waiting game is a real pain. I am praying that your surgery goes smoothly as well as your recovery. Let me know if there is anything I can do. You have been an angel helping me throughout this whole process. I can tell you that for once in my life I like the title "Loser"! Keep that sense of humor, it will help you survive a lot over the next couple of weeks, especially the suppositories and enemas! Besides, if you don't do what you are suppose to do, I can always bring you some peas! :-) Take care, Beth

Hey Sandra, I am having my surgery 7/8 and the time just seems to be flying. I only have to work 2 days next week and then the day will be here. I wanted to tell you the phone assessment is just going over the history form that you originally turned into Dr. Macik's office. They just make sure that all of the information is still correct (emergency contact phone numbers and current health info) and they go over again what to expect the day of surgery. It seemed silly to me but after I realized that it will save time the day of surgery. I wish you the best of luck and I will look to see how you are doing - Cathi

Dear Sandra, I just visited your profile. What a beautiful page. I, too lost my best friend (border collie) Mandy last year. She was 16 years old and the smartest dog I have ever known. I miss her every day still. I am having my surgery on July 15th here in Florida. Best wishes to you on your surgery. I escaped the valve damage with Redux. I took it for over 2 years, but my echo was clear last month. I am so anxious--the waiting is killing me as I know it is you. Soon we will be getting skinny, though. Best wishes, Pat Brock
