"My surgeon is actually Dr Eric Schlesinger, Dr Berkowitz's associate at the Bariatric Treatment Center. He was very matter of fact and seemed very concerned with my condition. He answered all of my questions too. I was very happy with my consult. The office staff was WONDERFUL, especially the patient counselor, Denise. I have also had wonderful supprt from Frank, who is a patient advocate for BTC.
I have heard only compliments about BTC. I met several post op patients in the waiting room and they were all thrilled with their results. I have also talked to some people online that liked BTC here in IL and in OH!
The only thing that made me uncomfortable was when the Dr described the procedure, he was like a robot (perhaps from having to explain it so many times!) I have to undergo an upper GI to check my ulcers and a psych evaluation to make sure I will be able to modify my eating behavior post op."
