Hi Laurie, I read Eva Lee's post tonight saying that you had some pre-surgery blues. When I checked out your profile, I couldn't believe she was talking about Raggedy Ann! I saw your picture earlier this week and thought, Wow! There a woman with a beautiful smile that must light up the folks around her! I know it made my day to see Raggedy Ann again. I used to love her as a child. Thanks for the great memory! The moral of the story being that even if you're having a down-on-yourself day, YOU matter to others. Take care! God Bless, Kat

Hi, Laurie! I had an open RNY on July 6 and would do it again in a snap. I had a real sense of rightness about the entire decision. I think you're probably experiencing a little fear of the unknown. Please be assured that you'll be in good hands. We're praying for you!

Hi Laurie, It seems like the days are going slow but they are actually going FAST! Before you know it, it will be August 16, 2000. That will be the happiest day of your life. When that day comes, I will still be on this board giving my support to others who have decided to have the surgery. Right now I want to wish you peace and serenity until that day is here. Charlene

hi Laurie, i to am a first time grandma (nana) only my grandbaby lives 3 hours away from us :O( hope you got my butterfly card , it makes me smile every time i see those beautiful butterfly flying around the page & purple is my very best color, some day Laurie you & i will look like butterflys lol. big hug,

YOUR PIC IS TOO CUTE......EVERYTHINGS GONNA GET BETTER. SOME DAYS ARE JUST CRAZY AND THATS OK! TRUST IN YOURSELF AND DECISION. KNOW WHAT I KEEP THINKING OF?
