Joanna.. What did your doctor suggest about the Grave's Disease? I've been on Thyroid meds so long I keep forgetting to list them when they ask me what medications I take. It isn't the end of the world at all. I mean, except for the one droopy eye thing. Now that is terrible (just kidding). We're all in this thing and we all have to keep fighting. One careful step followed by the next. Each day passes and before you know it.. your old! You'll see, everything will be fine! Stiff upper lip and all that.

**YAHOO** OK...I'm 13 months post now...108 pounds...I'm leaving today for a business trip/vac to Reno and then on to Lake Shasta. I'm going to be visiting 9 friends in the two areas (one is my ex-boyfriend). Three know about the WLS and have been sworn to secrecey. None of seen any pictures. I weigh less than any of these folks have ever known me and I'm SO EXCITED that sitting here this morning is getting my A FIB heart a thumping! I know it sounds vain, but I can't help it!!! I've got sexy clothes, skinny clothes, shorts, YEA! Thanks for letting me ramble and keep your fingers crossed for me! I am truly the LUCKIEST ANGEL!

Most of you know that Joanna has been an angel to a lot of people. She was my angel too. Yesterday I visited Kristine Balough in the hospital and met Joanna there too. She was doing her "angel duties" that she does sooooooo well. After we had visited with angelite Kristine, we went downstairs to the lobby and decided to "catch up" with each other. I think we talked for over an hour. First of all Joanna was celebrating her one-year anniversary of WLS. She was also celebrating her 100 lbs - Century Club membership. She was all smiles and looks marvelous in her sleeveless top and shorts. I am soooooo jealous of her great tan and her easy manner. It was great to compare stories and I got some more assistance from her about the days, weeks and months to come. She has done her homework and knows a lot. That's no doubt, why she is such a good angel. Well Joanna, like a mother whose work is never done, I guess I will continue to use you forever --- maybe not as an angel now --- but as a mentor with lots of encouragement. You have made the path easier for many of us. As you face new experiences, please know that this angelite supports you as well. God Bless.

Congratulations!!!!!!! Welcome to the Club!!!!!!!!!!! It's an awsome thing to get to the century club and the feeling is second to none...a major milestone in a fun filled journey.

Congratulations Joanna, The "Century Club" is quite an accomplishment. And also, congrats on your 1-year anniversary of WLS. You are such an inspiration. You were my angel and I still recall your visit with me. I could not believe that you would travel to San Diego to see ME --- a stranger, really --- from this website. I did not know anyone personally who had had WLS and you were my ROCK. I hope your new "complications" end up being handled easily. I am now working with a trainer also and the inches and body sculpting makes a huge difference in how I look and feel. Keep up the good work --- on all fronts. Maybe we can get together sometime. Thank you for all you do.
