Merry Christmas Everyone! I had my surgery on December 17th and came home on the 20th. I had a little nausea when first adjusting to the Resource Diabetic Supplement, but I have learned to drink a little more slowly and am doing just fine. Actually, I'm doing fantastic!!! Today, I sat at the dinner table with my family and had my chicken broth while they had their dinner and I have absolutely no regrets. Food is food, but life if life. Thanks to everyone for all of the positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes! I'll keep you posted on the 'losing side' as we go. Still fat, but very happy! Katie

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the kind thoughts and words from everyone! It really does help! I've been really busy getting ready for the big day, so I haven't been online very much. However, you guys have been so supportive and positive that I will definitely pick up the spirit and be doing the same for others! Again, thanks so much for all the hugs, thoughts and prayers! I'll keep you posted as soon as I get home!
