David Fischer
"Dr Fischer seems young, kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable the first time I met him. My primary care physician, Dr J. Heck spoke highly of Dr Fischer and I trust Dr Heck. 10/11/2004 I had my surgery August third of this year and everything went smoothly. Dr Fischer is wonderful, he stopped in to see me every morning and every evening I was in hospital except the last day (he only stopped in the morning because he was going to be in the office all day). He is open to questions and has no problem sharing information with me or my other doctors. I rate him a 10 out of 10 and if I ever need surgery again I want him or someone equivalent to him. He has a wonderful bedside manner and his surgical competence is excellent since I have had no complications, very little pain during my hospital stay, I was sore but stopped taking the pain meds by day 3 after getting out of the hospital because I did not need it. My incisions have healed nicely. Dr Fischer prescribes Prevacid the first month or so and by taking that I had no food issues, no nausea at all. His pa (Anne) is wonderful, anything I needed all I had to do was ask by phone or email and she answered me quickly. The only negative thing I can think of is Dr Fischer only does wls one day a week so scheduling your surgery might take longer than you like. "
