Hi Kathy, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. In fact, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. I'd say I had more soreness than pain; all completely manageable. Keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones will just test your nerves. Don't forget to post your experiences to surgery pages when you feel better. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

Hi Kathy!! I will be thinking of you on Monday. You will do just fine, and I look forward to hearing you are on the losing side. We may run into each other at the hospital as mine is scheduled for 4/29 three days after you. Actually we may not run into each, bcz you will be going home a NEW woman. I will be saying prayers my friend, and hopefully we will see each other soon.

Hi Kathy! Just wanted to say hello and tell you i'm thinking of you and your upcoming surgery date! I'm sure you have all kinds of feelings going on but with watching kristie and mike and some of us...I know your ready for this wonderful journey that is about to begin! Prayers are going out to you for a perfect smooth sailing surgery and recovery. Just keep in mind...it gets better every day! Hugs! Julie =)

Hello Kathy!!! Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- Congratulations on your surgery date and may God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side.
