Hello Janica!! i loved reading your profile and story of your WLS journey. Wow, it's been a roller coaster ride for you. I'm so sorry that you suffered some complications, but it sounds like you have headed to a full recovery and are already MELTING AWAY!! WooHoo, 75+ pounds down! That is awesome. I want to take the time to invite you to a online email support group, just for BTC patients. We are a great group, full of fun, friendship, but best of all support. Well good morning everyone. I had my apt. with the doctor and he's very clinical. But I have to say even though is bed side manner is kinda cold, he appears to be a wonderful Doctor. I can say that I truly respect him in the short time I talked to him. I'm certain my visit with him was good because I had done my homework on this surgery. I suggest everyone do their homework. I'm patiently waiting now for insurance approval. I think some times this is probably harder than the surgery. Well maybe not..lol..we'll see. All of you know as being a fat person you are scared to death about let downs. I'm terrified that my insurance will say no to this. Some times I just feel like nothing good will happen. I met a wonderful gal on Yahoo games that had the surgery done. She post in here as well. It helps to get to know some one else that has had the surgery and to read and go along with her/him. Even after all the pain you hear they go through, the end result is positive and thats what you really want to read. I have found out by reading on this website that this is not an easy fly by night process. That it takes commitment and decipline. The recovery is hard it sounds like but once accomplished its wonderful. I'm ready for it believe me. All those diets I did over the years took dicipline to so i'm not afraid of doing it. I'm just impatient now in waiting. I'm looking forward to the end result. Thanks everyone for reading and good luck to you all. I sure can't wait for the appointment with my Doctor. Time seems to be going so slow and the appointment is next week. Bye all for now
