I just got an email from Penny's husband saying that Penny has lost 12 pounds since surgery! Way to go Penny! But she is back in the hospital with a blood clot in her left arm. Lets all pray for Penny and keep her in our thoughts for a safe recovery and that she will be home again soon.

Penny, I'm so glad you're home. Now your new life starts and everyday ahead is so full of promise and joy. Soon the weight starts falling off and the inches melt away. Take care and keep the faith.

I had the pleasure of meeting Penny at the hospital on Saturday the 15th. She is so beautiful! She was doing so well, up and walking and slowly sipping her fluids. I was lucky enough to be in the area and made a point to go see her. She looked so wonderful, her spirits were high, she laughed, and it was the best thing to get to meet her. I suspect that she is still in the area as PB makes you stay there until around 1 week, your first post op appt. She has a long drive so they will make her stay in the area until then. I just wanted to say Penny when you see this, it was a pleasure and an honor to meet you. You are a very special lady and you have the world at your feet. Welcome to the losing side, you are now my sister :) Good luck, Best wishes, and keep in touch. If you ever need anything just ask I know I am here for you as well as all the others. God Bless.
